And I'm thinking about making a pair of my own. -.-
It will never come out this good, but I was wondering: are you able to wear them? Like do you have anything on them to seal the paint on so if it gets wet it will not get ruined.
I still use the shoes. I have 3 layers of fabric/craft varnish over the painting so its completelly waterproof.
But since I used to use those shoes on a regular basis, the gold would chip off or crack where my feet would bend and flex. But no permanent damage that cant be fixed with a little craft paint and s'more varnish. Hehehe!
These are my most favorite pair. I grew up almost everyday watching Aladdin on DisneyChannel so it's a very special series to me. I dont care If later on, being more than 20 years old and having to hug the characters in Walt Disney World. Hahahhahaha!!!
AS for the washing, just use a wet cloth and some soap to gently rinse out any dirt. Just be careful and don't treat them roughly.
