Woah! This came as a huge surprise! I've only recently began to watch DeathNote---and even if I'm slightly either creeped out or annoyed by Light---I still like him---BUT I LOVE L!!! Kyaaaaaaaaaah!!!

Like, I've been watching Naruto for months and months but I haven't done a really serious fan art of them except the crappy yet oddly popular SENNEN GOROSHI ^_^ (Thanks guys!)---> [link] <--- and that also goes for most of my fave anime...but there was just something about Ryuk (FYI: the scary yet cool blue Death god Dude hugging the apple....he loves human-world apples...^_^) that compelled me to draw him!
Originally this was suppose to be JUST RYUK hugging an APPLE...but as I kept drawing I forgot to make him chibi so I stuck with the slightly deformed Ryuk...and I liked it...then the DEAD WORM idea came to me and I liked it more.....hahaha...Anyhoo, I hope you like this! This is my first DEATHNOTE fanart! ^_^

*To those who don't watch DeathNote, see that little black notebook Light is scribbling on? If he writes someone's name on it, that person DIES in 40 seconds...!!! SWEET!! Sounds interesting....WATCH THE ANIME!!! ^-^*

EDIT: OH POO!! I just noticed....I missed shadowing the part where the apple squishes the worm....It wasn't suppose to be under there anyway...the worm was sppose to be in the foreground with Raito-kun......T^T ah well.....
